We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Consultant to work on the road, specializing in the sales of international fabric and wallpaper brands.

Duties & Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve sales targets and assist the International Manager in surpassing the sales budget
  • Engage with high-profile clients
  • Generate new business and identify potential sales opportunities
  • Monitor expenses in accordance with the approved budget
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and international fabric brands
  • Support the sales team by providing guidance and training

Desired Experience & Qualification

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • National Senior Certificate
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in a related field (preferred)
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the wholesale luxury goods or interior décor sector is preferred

  • A keen interest in the fabric and décor industry
  • Outgoing, dynamic, and motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
  • Proficient in sales, new business development, customer service, product knowledge, negotiation, presentation skills, market research, campaign implementation, branding, public relations, and report writing
  • Strong communication skills, ability to build partnerships, resource planning, entrepreneurial mindset, professionalism and business etiquette, assertiveness and drive, problem-solving abilities, decision-making and prioritization skills, adaptability, tenacity, resilience under stress, influence and impact, and contributing to team success
