The ideal candidate should possess a proven sales background, with at least three years of experience as a Sales Representative, along with technical expertise and a strong commercial acumen to effectively enhance our brand’s position in the LPG market.
Duties & Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Delivering an exceptional customer service experience to our clientele.
- Overseeing and expanding the sale of LPG to customers in the Western Cape region.
- Providing commercial assistance to the Customer Service Centre and Supply Departments for their designated customer groups.
- Being accountable for meeting volume and margin growth targets within a specified customer group and geographical area.
- Managing commercial relationships with customers within the defined group.
- Leading the negotiation and renegotiation of contracts for commercial customers within the assigned sales territory as necessary.
- Efficiently managing and developing the sales area by employing effective sales techniques to enhance performance and seize business growth opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Actively supporting the rollout of new offerings and targeting new sub-segments; identifying potential customers for new business opportunities and driving volume and margin growth within the B2B bulk segment.
- Negotiating and preparing quotations for potential or existing customers, utilizing the pricing framework for guidance, ensuring timely assessment by the business, and managing the overall negotiation process professionally.
- Preparing and reporting on supply forecasts based on anticipated area needs.
