Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Must have Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Be a resident of the City of Ekurhuleni – ensure that your ward number is clearly indicated on your CV
- Youth aged 18 to 35 are encouraged to apply. However, both men and women above the age of 35 will also be considered
- Good communication skills and the ability to engage with the local community
- Must be able to read and write

Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a General Worker in this programme, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting house-to-house visits for title deed verification
- Profiling title deed beneficiaries to update city records
- Assisting senior staff and supervisors responsible for title deed distribution
- Identifying and reporting the whereabouts of missing beneficiaries
- Investigating and recording the causes of delays and backlogs in issuing title deeds
- Accurately recording all activities and submitting reports to your supervisor
- Supporting community meetings and participating when needed
Your work will directly support the City’s efforts to improve service delivery and provide legal home ownership to residents who have been waiting for their title deeds.
