Key Performance Areas
- Perform general cleaning duties across all office and facility areas.
- Clean, replenish, and maintain assigned areas in accordance with required hygiene and quality standards.
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Collect, empty, and dispose of waste from bins and containers in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Conduct deep-cleaning and detailed cleaning activities as scheduled or required.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or repair requirements to management.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and adequate stock levels in cleaning supply rooms.
- Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks and special or ad-hoc assignments when required.
- Ensure full compliance with SHEQ standards, including Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) practices.
- Strictly adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Key Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to safely operate and handle industrial and heavy-duty cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Sound knowledge of appropriate cleaning chemicals and materials.
- Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safe chemical handling procedures.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational requirement: Grade 10.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
- Grade 12 (Matric) will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in a similar cleaning role.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ cleaning experience, including experience operating polishing and stripping machines.
