EISOWAVE (Pty) Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified individuals to apply for the 2025 Manufacturing Artisan Apprenticeship Programme. This programme is designed to equip young and aspiring artisans with practical workplace experience in the electric vehicle manufacturing sector.
As South Africa continues to expand its green energy and electric vehicle industry, skilled artisans are becoming increasingly important. This apprenticeship provides structured, hands-on training in a real manufacturing environment, allowing participants to gain valuable technical skills and industry exposure.
Programme Overview
The apprenticeship focuses on developing competent artisans through on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced professionals. Successful candidates will be exposed to modern manufacturing processes used in electric vehicle production and related engineering fields.
Location and Duration
The programme will be conducted at industrial facilities located in Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The apprenticeship period ranges between two and four years, depending on the trade and level of training required.
Who Should Apply
Applications are open to individuals who:
- Hold a Level 4 or N6 qualification
- Are currently completing their studies and require workplace experience
- Are unemployed or underemployed and seeking a career in manufacturing
- Have up to three years of relevant experience in the automotive or engineering sector
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have Grade 12 or an N6 National Certificate from a recognised TVET college in one of the following fields:
- Automotive Body Building and Spray Painting
- Welding and Fabrication
- Automotive Fitting and Turning
- Automotive Electrical
- Electronics Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Plant Engineering
- Warehouse Logistics
Having a valid driver’s licence and any trade-related certification will be an added advantage.
