FNB Learnership Programme (All Provinces)

FNB Launches National 12-Month Learnership Programme to Tackle Youth Unemployment

First National Bank (FNB) has introduced a transformative 12-month Learnership Programme aimed at equipping young South Africans with essential skills and real-world work experience in the banking and financial services sector. This initiative is part of FNB’s ongoing commitment to youth development and economic upliftment, offering unemployed youth a valuable stepping stone into the job market.

Empowering Young South Africans Through Practical Training

This nationwide programme is designed to bridge the gap between education and employment, particularly for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. In partnership with the SAYouth.mobi platform, FNB is making the learnership accessible across all nine provinces.

Participants will benefit from structured, hands-on workplace training at FNB branches and offices, along with formal classroom instruction. The programme focuses on key areas such as customer service, sales, administration, and basic banking operations—providing learners with critical experience in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

What the FNB Learnership Offers:

  • Practical work experience in a professional banking environment
  • Mentorship from experienced FNB staff
  • Exposure to banking operations, customer service, and administration
  • Monthly stipend to help cover basic expenses and transport
