First National Bank (FNB) has introduced a transformative 12-month Learnership Programme aimed at equipping young South Africans with essential skills and real-world work experience in the banking and financial services sector. Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the FNB Learnership Programme, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18 and 34 years old
- Hold at least a Grade 12 certificate (NQF level 4); further studies such as diplomas or certificates at NQF level 5 or 6 are advantageous
- Be currently unemployed and not studying
- Have little to no prior work experience (less than 12 months of casual or part-time work)
- Must be their first job opportunity
- Not have previously worked for FirstRand or participated in the FirstJob Programme
- Have a good command of English
- Must not have a criminal record or be blacklisted
- Be willing to commit to a full 12-month learnership and gain workplace experience
