Stipend: R3,610 per month (depending on host employer)

About the Wholesale and Retail Learnership
The Wholesale and Retail Operations Learnership (NQF Level 4) is designed to equip learners with in-demand retail skills, from customer service and stock control to merchandising and store operations. Through Vision Capital Academy, participants receive expert guidance from accredited facilitators and workplace mentors, ensuring both theoretical competence and real-world application.
This opportunity is ideal for unemployed youth aged 18–35 who want to build a long-term career in the retail, wholesale, logistics, or distribution sectors.
Key Responsibilities
During the learnership, participants will:
- Gain hands-on experience in retail and wholesale operations such as customer service, stock control, sales, and merchandising.
- Attend structured classroom training sessions and assessments facilitated by Vision Capital Academy.
- Demonstrate competence in core NQF Level 4 unit standards and modules.
- Complete all assignments, logbooks, and practical assessments as required by the SETA.
- Maintain professional behaviour, punctuality, and workplace ethics at all times.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this learnership, applicants must:
✅ Be a South African citizen aged 18–35 years
✅ Have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate (Maths or Maths Literacy and English preferred)
✅ Be currently unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership or study programme
✅ Not hold an NQF Level 4 or higher qualification in Wholesale & Retail
✅ Have good communication skills (verbal and written)
✅ Be willing to learn and fully commit to the 12-month programme
